Firefighters are currently dealing with a grass fire which has broken out in the Patrick Road area.
The constabulary is asking members of the public to avoid the area in the west of the Island whilst the incident is being dealt with.
Officers add the Department of Infrastructure is currently closing the stretch, with a number of fire engines currently in attendance.
