The Office of Fair Trading is asking for public views on smaller drink measures being sold in pubs.
At present the Island serves spirits in 1/5 gill measures - larger than those served in England and Wales but slightly smaller than in Scotland.
The OFT's now launched a consultation about whether the measures should be changed.
Chief inspector of Trading Standards John Peet says it would also help the industry, which has to buy outsized optics and stamped glasses:
