Helping a friend move house has cost a Douglas woman £550 and five points on her driving licence.
27 year old Scarlett O'hare admitted having no tax or insurance when she appeared before Douglas magistrates this week.
The court heard police had found her blue Honda Civic unattended in Anagh Coar Road at 9.30pm on December 16 as she helped move boxes.
Magistrates fined her a total of £500 and ordered her to pay £50 prosecution costs.
