A couple from Douglas will aim to cross Europe in a withered old car next month all in the name of charity.
Charlie Shimmins and Paige Havlin will take part in the Motoscape Banger Rally in September in a 20-year-old Seat car which cost them just £250.
Their efforts are in support of Manx Wild Bird Aid, with Charlie saying they're looking forward to the challenge... but admits it could 'test their mechanical abilities to the limit".
The event will start in Northern France and finish in Prague in the Czech Republic - meaning the 'Need for Seed' team will be looking to cross 12 European countries in seven days.
