The Department of Infrastructure says it'll be making temporary repairs to pedestrian crossings on Douglas Promenade this month.
It says the crossings on Loch Promenade near Victoria Street and Regent Street have seen problems with block paving - the damaged blocks will be replaced with asphalt.
The DOI says work will start on Monday, October 19 and take around a fortnight to finish.
And it adds its plan is to eventually replace all the crossings with natural stone granite paving.
