DOI removing overhanging trees

Traffic management will be in place between Braddan and Union Mills today and tomorrow whilst overhanging trees are removed.

The Department of Infrastructure says there are branches causing difficulties for double-decker buses passing through the main route between the two areas.

On Friday the stretch between Strang Road and Cronk Road beside the Railway Inn will go down to a single-lane of traffic and traffic lights will be put in place.

Officials added all the work will take place outside of peak travel times.
