The Department of Health and Social Care is urging people to stay warm and healthy this winter.
It's raising awareness of how vulnerable people - particularly the elderly and those with health conditions - can make sure they're prepared for wintry conditions.
Departmental member Ann Corlett MHK says make sure you've had a flu jab, wash your hands regularly to protect against germs and keep active.
A webpage all of the department's advice and information is available on the government website.
