The Department of Health and Social Care says it can help 52 people who get Meals on Wheels from an Island catering supplier that could be closing.
Yesterday, Jack Frost said it would cease trading in two weeks' time unless business picked up.
The company took over meal deliveries from Age Concern after the DHSC slashed £150,000 of funding last month.
The department will write to those affected, and says people can contact its adult services access team on 686179.
