Department of Home Affairs Look to Introduce Fresh Approach to Prison Reform
The Department of Home Affairs are currently considering introducing a new measure into the justice system which would see offenders come face to face with their victims as part of their sentence.
It would be hoped that the criminals would see the human consequences of their actions, and even get a chance to apologise and explain their actions.
The scheme has been used to great effect across the world, and is now used regularly in the UK.
It’s currently under careful consideration.
