Deadline close for two financial support schemes

Residents requiring assistance under two Covid-19 financial support schemes have less than two days left to apply for them.

The Coronavirus Business Support Scheme (CBSS) and Business Premises Support Scheme’s rates payment both close at 5.30pm on Friday (April 30).

The CBSS initiative is providing grants of up to £3,500 for organisations or self-employed people which have suffered a 25% or more reduction in turnover as a result of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Business Premises scheme offers firms operating out of commercial locations a one-off grant equivalent to their annual rates bill.
