Data on disabled people lacking

Government doesn't know how many disabled people live on the Isle of Man.

That was the admission from the Chief Minister this week who says statistical information is lacking. 
 
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft wanted to know how many disabled people were in employment - she says the lack of information is worrying: 
 
 
Social Security figures show there are just 17 people currently in employment - statistics from 2011 show there were 817 residents listed as unavailable to work.
