Police are appealing for information after reports of 'dangerous overtaking' on the Mountain Road.
Officers say it happened just before 10am on Sunday, October 2 near Hailwoods Rise.
There were several witnesses to the incident, however authorities are keen to speak with the driver of a small blue van traveling towards Douglas in the area at this time.
If you have information or believe you are the driver, you're asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 631212.
