A UK newspaper has called the Island 'woke' in an article about Douglas' four year old roundels.
The Daily Mail calls the features on Douglas promenade, which opened in 2021, a 'tragedy waiting to happen' and dubs us "Isle of Woke".
But it also lists what it thinks are the Island's 'wackiest polices', including having our own currency and having no speed limits.
And its article names Treasury Minister Alex Allinson as "the Island's local MP".
