A Douglas councillor has been booted off the local authority after missing too many meetings.
Frank Schuengel, who was elected to represent the Douglas South ward in 2021, had his membership revoked by law on Wednesday.
Councillors are automatically removed if they fail to attend three months of meetings in a row.
At a council meeting this week, members expressed their appreciation for his service.
