Douglas Council is to sell off a landmark site to private developers.
The four-storey Lord Street flats have been empty for two years and the 56 flats will now be sold through estate agents Black Grace Cowley.
The four blocks with communal yards are named after the old Douglas Borough wards: Murrays House, Hills House, Derby House and Athol House.
The local authority says it'll spend the money raised on building, maintaining and refurbishing housing.
