Douglas Council's planning to sell off empty public housing.
It says only around half of the 35 aging council houses on Marathon Drive and Falcon Cliff Terrace have tenants in them.
The corporation adds money from the sales will be invested into more public sector housing.
This includes plans to develop a new block of homes in the city centre.
