Douglas Council has applied for retrospective planning permission after levelling off and expanding a football pitch.
The pitch in Noble's Park sloped from touchline to touchline and was uneven along its length.
Around 4,000 square metres of subsoil and 2,000 square metres of topsoil were used to even it out and make it five metres longer and six metres wider.
In its application, the local authority says contractors took precautions to protect two nearby trees during the work.
