Plans for a £1.8million investment scheme in Jurby are an example of government and the community working together to build a vision for the town.
That's the view of MHK Julie Edge who added she believes it also shows how officials and residents can 'come up with a project with huge potential benefits'.
The proposals include community-led ideas such as a 'container cluster', which sees cargo containers developed to house organisations to support their work.
The first phase of development would see money invested in improvements to Jurby Business Park, before the second stage focusing on developing land between Jurby Medical Centre and the Bretney Estate.
