Braddan commissioners say they'll swap fortnightly meetings for monthly ones.
At a meeting in September, members were told the clerk spends around five days preparing for the board meetings every two weeks.
And they heard many matters were being discussed again and again without any change as a result.
Commissioners voted to switch to monthly meetings, with extra meetings if needed.
