Peel commissioners say they'll continue to oppose Manx Telecom's plans to put up telegraph poles after the company appealed against a planning refusal.
It had sought permission to put up 15 poles in Rheast Bridson, Corrins Way, Creggan Avenue and Ballaquane Park to provide broadband.
Earlier this month the company lodged an appeal after being turned down by planners.
At the local authority's last board meeting, members voted five to one to submit information to the appeal supporting the refusal.
