Castletown commissioners are hunting a gardener who dumped waste in a domestic bin.
The local authority says those responsible put hydrangeas and other waste in a Queen Street bin shortly after 2pm yesterday.
On Facebook, the commissioners say garden waste has to be taken to the Southern Recycling Centre, where charges apply.
They're now asking anybody who knows what happened to contact the Town Hall.
