The Island's Economic Development Minister says a trademark on the Classic TT has not yet been extended to Europe.
Businesses have to apply for a license to use the TT initials - the rules over payments changed recently after a number of high-profile rows.
In the House of Keys yesterday, Laurence Skelly said the department is looking to expand its trademark for the Classic event.
