Claire’s Accessories is closing its Strand Street store, along with 145 other locations across the UK and Ireland.
Administrators Interpath said these stores were not included in a deal to save some outlets and as a result will be shutting down.
A closing-down sale is currently underway, with discounts of up to 20% advertised at the Douglas shop.
The retailer, known for its jewellery and ear-piercing services, has not yet confirmed its final day of operation.
