Rules governing child performers are to be reviewed by the Department of Education and Children.
In the House of Keys yesterday North Douglas MHK David Ashford asked Minister Graham Cregeen whether the regulations are too restrictive.
Groups need licenses for child performers which Mr Ashford said was a large burden on smaller drama and music groups.
Mr Cregeen said the process was being looked at to see if it could be simplified:
