Chief Minister comments on health spat

The Chief Minister has weighed into the ongoing spat between the Department of Health and the Liberal Vannin Party.

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has accused members of the department of misleading Tynwald over a review into colorectal surgery.

The review was commissioned after surgery was suspended in November last year after complications with four patients.

Allan Bell says although his allegiances lie with his cabinet representatives he has listened to all facts put forward by Mrs Beecroft.

He says it’s an unfortunate situation:
