Could you qualify for help with rising living costs?
People struggling to cope with the rising cost of living are encouraged to check whether they are eligible for a Variable Rate Energy Support Payment.
In a statement released earlier today, government says the payment is aimed at those who don't receive income-related benefits, but are on a low income.
The payment can be worth up to £225, although how much a person receives depends on their circumstances.
This includes how much money they have coming in to their household; their savings; and whether they share their housing costs with anyone else who isn’t their spouse or partner.
Claims must be made before 11 July 2022 and forms can be obtained by emailing ISP@gov.im or calling 685053.
