Charity's final beach clean of 2020 this weekend

A charity keeping the Islands shorelines clean throughout the year will hold it's final volunteer event of 2020 this weekend.

Beach Buddies says it will be out cleaning Ramsey Promenade this Sunday (December 13) between 10.30am and Noon with people of all ages being welcomed to help out.

The group says this will be it's last volunteer occasion this year before activities return on January 3 with a 'Walk and Clean' event at South Barrule plantation.

For this weekend's cleanup, anyone wanting to help is asked to head to the meeting point at the car park at the northern end of Ramsey prom, near to the site of the former Grand Island Hotel.
