A local charity's appealing for your help looking after birds injured during recent bad weather.
Manx Wild Bird Aid says the storms have brought misfortune to a number of feathered friends which have now been rescued.
Among numerous mishaps were a goldfinch which suffered a head injury, a gull who got stuck in a fence, and a blackbird which was hit by a car.
The organisation is asking people to keep their eyes peeled for baby pigeons blown from their nests in high winds - it says they won't survive on the ground and anybody finding stranded chicks should contact it to arrange help.
