A candidate has come forward to stand in Glenfaba and Peel in this year's general election.
Andrew Harris, who's retired, used to run the Woodbourne Hotel in Douglas.
Among his priorities he lists stopping frivolous government spending, making ferries affordable, and having a referendum on proposed wind turbines.
The general election will be held on Thursday, September 24.
