Tynwald to change the way it spends tax money

Tynwald will change the way it allocates tax money to be spent each year.

During this week's sitting, members debated recommendations from a report by a select committee about the budget process.

Previously, members had to vote for or against the entire annual government spending plan in one go.

However, in future they'll be able to amend individual items.
