Charity screenings find 11 people with heart problems on Island

11 people on Island have found out they have cardiovascular problems at a charity's free heart screening last weekend.

Craig's Heartstrong Foundation offers free appointments at Noble's Hospital - and saw more than 360 people at its latest session.

The charity was originally set up by the Lunt family in memory of their 25 year old son, Craig.

He tragically died in April 2005 due to a previously undiagnosed heart defect.

As a result, the foundation now provides free screening for people aged between 14 and 35 up at Noble's Hospital.

In a post on social media the charity says of those at its latest screenings - 11 were found to have problems that can now be dealt with.
