A man accused of assaulting a woman has seen charges against him dropped.
Carl Joseph Bridson of Somerset Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 37 year old had been accused of carrying out the attack on April 4, but prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the court his alleged victim had retracted her complaint to police.
Magistrates marked the charge as dismissed.
