The Mayor Charities fundraiser has received a huge boost after Mark Cavendish donated a signed cycling shirt to the cause, which is already receiving plenty of online bidding interest.
The outgoing Mayor of Douglas Ritchie McNicholl chose Dot’s Dream and the Special Olympics as his charities for the past year and all proceeds from the sale will go directly to these causes.
The shirt is now available to bid for on eBay under the listing ‘Mark Cavendish cycling jersey’ and comes with an authenticity certificate.
It’s available for bidding until the end of this week when Mr McNicholl will officially finish his term of office.
