13 Island businesses have been fined almost £29,000 after failing to pay income tax and and national insurance on time.
All appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse at a tax court this week.
Bespoke Vehicle Sales of Douglas was fined £1,850 for four offences, Haven Homes was fined £4,180 after admitted two breaches, and the Chinatown Restaurant on Strathallan Crescent in Douglas was fined £2,350 over 10 offences.
Prosecution costs were awarded in call cases.
