The Police have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, and ongoing enquiries are a matter of routine.
The man found dead on Perwick Beach in Port St Mary on Sunday has been identified as Kenneth Merryweather.
61-year-old Kenneth was from Laxey, members of his family have now been informed.
A member of the public discovered his body on the beach at 11.00am.
