A Lezayre man who was more than twice the legal limit when police spotting him driving erratically has been banned from the road for more than two years.
Oliver George Wellesley Broadhead of Glen Auldyn admitted drink driving when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week.
Police arrested him after he was spotted speeding up and slowing down and swerving over centre white lines on Circular Road at 3.30am on Saturday, November 11.
Mrs Hughes fined him £900, ordered him to pay £125 costs and banned him from driving for 27 months - he'll have to take an extended driving test before he can get his license back.
