A team of students from a Douglas School will represent the Island on the international stage next week.
Team 'Gravity' of Ballakermeen High School won the Junior Achievement IOM 2019 Company of the Year Award and will now head to the wider Company of the Year Awards in Lille, in France, from July 3 to 5.
The pupils impressed Junior Achievement to win the local accolade with their idea called the 'Bambrush' - an eco-friendly toothbrush made of bamboo - and their latest product called 'Bambuds' is a biodegradeable ear bud.
The team will join around 200 other entrepreneurs from 39 different countries at the event, which also sees Junior Achievement celebrating its 100th anniversary.
