An appeal court's found a judge was right to hold two trials over sexual abuse allegations committed 20 years apart against different victims.
The Attorney General appealed against Deemster Montgomerie's findings the charges had been unlawfully joined together.
A man was accused of indecently assaulting his stepsister between 1992 and 1994, and his stepdaughter between 2015 and 2016.
Judge of Appeal Tattersall and Deemster Doyle said because there was a 20-year gap between the offences, the court had been right to separate them.
They dismissed the appeal.
