Assessing currency risks is a work in progress

The Department of Economic Development has responded to requests for a cryptocurrency risk assessment to be published.

It says it's working with a fast-paced industry and has had to make changes as it emerges, not in advance of its introduction.

Calls were made by the Manx Labour Party to make the information public to show government's taking a balanced approach to regulating the sector.
