Arctic winds the cause for drastic weather change

The weather has seen a notable decline from the summery conditions the Island enjoyed last week.

From a week of summery temperatures we had lows of 4 Celsius yesterday and even snow on high ground.

It's a similar story for much of the UK, with 6 inches of snow in some areas of Scotland.

Last Wednesday saw record highs of 17 celsius recorded at Ronaldsway, this weeks change has been attributed to northerly winds travelling all the way down from the arctic.
