April was sunnier, drier and windier than average, according to Ronaldsway Met Office.

Data from meteorologists shows the average high temperature over last month was 12.6 Celcius - a degree above the long-term average.

But despite some rainy days, there was a total of 34.8mm last month, well below the April average of 55mm.

And it was the second-sunniest April on record, with 241.8 hours, only beaten by 2021's 264.9 hours.
