Parents and guardians of children who turn four in the next school year can now apply for pre-school credit.
The initiative offers £3,420 to help pay for pre-school costs and can be used with registered child daycare providers and childminders.
Parents of children who reach their fourth birthday between September 1 this year and August 31, 2021 can apply online to receive three equal payments of £1,140 in September, January and April
It comes after Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, announced last week that nurseries, playgroups and childminders can increase the number of youngsters in their care.
Children whose parents work in retail are now being accepted and all other eligible children will be welcomed from next Monday (June 15).
