Another candidate enters Onchan by-election

42 year old Rob Callister submits nomination papers

Another candidate from Onchan has come forward, submitting his nomination papers to stand in the forthcoming by-election.

The by-election was called following the resignation of Brian Stowell after an unsuccessful House of Keys bid blighted by public opposition.

42-year-old Rob Callister works for an investment company based in Douglas.

He says he feels he has the professional skills, training and the commitment to serve the residents openly, fairly, honestly and without fear of conflict.

James Corrin has also announced his intentions to stand, although its not yet known if he’s submitted the relevant papers.

The by-election will be held on Tuesday 10th November.
