Airport security improvements move closer to completion

New equipment has been successfully put in place at Isle of Man airport as work on its security area nears completion.

The latest tech means passengers and their luggage can be screened quicker, with new boarding card readers to be installed soon.

Infrastructure Minister, MHK Ray Harmer, says the aim has been to reduce queueing times and to improve the overall passenger experience.

The bigger central security section now has two lines with staff available to help people with the search procedure.
