Chief Minister Up in Arms Following Newspaper Column
A damning column regarding the Isle of Man and it’s people has received a furious response from the Chief Minister.
The article was penned by AA Gill, a man known for his satirical whit and scathing reviews.
In the article he said the people of the Isle of Man fall into two categories; that of hopeless, inbred mouth-breathers, and retired, small arms dealers and accountants who deal in rainforest futures.
The Chief Minister has called the comments insulting, unwarranted and grossly misleading.
The Chief Minister also pointed out that in relation to social policy the Isle of Man gave women the right to vote decades before the United Kingdom.
Gill’s article came about following Mick Jagger’s recent comments about legalising drugs on the Island.
Gill has in the past attacked the Island and is renowned for having somewhat of a vendetta against both the place and the people.
