Expressions of interest sought for luxury casino resort
The Isle Of Man could be home to a second casino after the Department of Economic Development has announced it's seeking expressions of interest from organisations interested in working with the Government to establish a hotel and casino complex on the island.
The idea is to create a high quality 5 star hotel and casino complex incorporating conference and leisure facilities which the department says will present a rare and exciting opportunity for both the Island and for those involved in financing, developing and operating casino and hotel leisure resorts.
The lack of gaming duty on terrestrial casinos and no limit on the number of slot machines is expected to enhance the appeal to potential interested parties.
