A 75 year old man has been hospitalised after an incident in Willaston.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the alleged fight which happened between 11:30Hrs and 12:30Hrs on Saturday night.
There are reports that the elderly man was assaulted near the shops on Snaefell Road.
Officers have confirmed that a 59 year old man suffered minor injuries, but how the 75 year came to be injured is unknown.
Officers want to speak to group of young males aged late teens to early twenties that are believed to have had an altercation with two older males near to the shops in Willaston at around that time.
