Just under £300,000 of public money has been spent on failed development plans for the Lord Street bus station site.
Economic Development Minister John Shimmin revealed the figures in the House of Keys yesterday.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran wanted to know how much government had paid to developer Askett Hawk over the proposals to develop the area.
He wanted to know if any lessons had been learnt by government so that this situation didn’t happen again.
