Slowing traffic through Kirk Michael will not be as simple as introducing a 20mph speed restriction.
That's the message from the Infrastructure Minister who was responding to a question in the House of Keys from Michael MHK Alf Cannan this morning.
Mr Cannan asked if his department accepts the need to change the limit in light of a number of accidents on the road in recent years.
Minister Gawne conceded something needs to change, but argued that it may be more complicated than just altering the restriction:
