A prisoner being held on remand at the Isle of Man Prison has died, the Isle of Man Prison and Probation Service has confirmed.
The prisoner has been named as Taylor Jake Murphy, with his family informed and receiving support.
The death has been reported to the Coroner, while police are working with the prison to establish the circumstances.
An independent investigation will now take place, with no further information being released at this stage.
